Tapis Vert is an independent review site for Canadian players. We cover the offshore-licensed casinos and poker rooms that legally accept Canadians outside Ontario's closed market, and we judge them licence-first — because where a site is regulated decides what protections you actually have.

Our mission

To be the most honest map of a confusing landscape: which offshore sites are safe, which pay quickly, which bonuses are real, and which to avoid. We test with real money and publish what we find, commission or not.

Our authors

Marc-André spent six years grinding mid-stakes cash games before moving to the press side, and has covered Canadian gambling for over a decade. He tests every poker room and writes the rankings.

Whitfield leads our casino and blackjack coverage, with a focus on payout math, rule audits, and live-dealer testing.
